It appears as though most people like what Nissan has done with the design of the new Z Coupe in creating a sports car that looks modern while also having obvious retro-inspired design influences. In creating his dream Nissan Z however, designer Franklin 郭 from Shanghai, China, has opted for a much more radical look.
His creation is dubbed the Fairlady Zero Z and takes some design inspiration from the 370Z and the Nissan Vision Gran Turismo Concept. It has a seriously striking design and were it brought to life, would have some serious road presence.
The front of the Fairlady Zero Z is very forward looking and dynamic. Like the new Z, it has a sharp, rectangular grille but features more aggressive body lines and thin LED headlights. It also sports muscular arches and a pronounced hood with distinctive strakes.

The bold looks are carried through to the sides of the car where you will find wheels with a complex spoke design wrapped in Toyo tires. Like any Z car from Nissan, the shape of the windshield and roof are very angular, further adding to the aggression of the car.
Spin around to the rear and there is a bulky bumper and diffuser that have tapered edges to better flow with the rest of the design, as well as thin LED headlights and a retractable split rear wing that pops out from the decklid.
