To our eyes, the Audi RS6 Avant is one of the coolest family cars on the market but if you insist on having an SUV with the four rings, then it is hard to look past the RS Q8.
The Audi RS Q8 could be considered as the cousin to the Lamborghini Urus but has a slightly less controversial design while still offering up some serious levels of performance. This performance is put on perfect display in this latest POV video from AutoTopNL that shows the SUV being driven to its limits along the German autobahn.

Giving the RS Q8 its go is a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine pumping out 592 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. Drive is sent through a dual-clutch eight-speed transmission and a Quattro all-wheel drive system, allowing the RS Q8 to hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.8 seconds. Sure, there are a couple of quicker SUVs on the market but do you really need one that hits 62 mph any faster than that?
Ordinarily, the RS Q8 is electronically limited to 155 mph (250 km/h) but Audi will increase that limit to 190 mph if customers opt for the available carbon ceramic brakes. The RS Q8 recently tested by AutoTopNL has clearly had its top speed limiter removed and was filmed hitting 186 mph (300 km/h) on the speedometer.
What’s even more impressive than the SUV’s staggering top speed is just how stable it looks at these speeds. The ride looks smooth and the driver isn’t fighting with the steering wheel in the slightest.
