Lexus has introduced a handful of updates for the LC500 and LC500h in the Japanese market.
The car manufacturer started out with a focus on improving the ride quality and performance of the Grand Tourer and has updated the springs, stabilizer bars, and shock absorbers to improve comfort while also increase steering response and controlability. Additional handling tweaks have been made to models with the Lexus Dynamic Handling System.

Elsewhere, Lexus has introduced a new color dubbed Sonic Iridium for both the LC Coupe and Convertible. A dark shade of green known as Terrane Khaki Mica Metallic is also offered for the LC500 Coupe, while new 21-inch forged aluminum wheels with a polished finish and black paint are also available.
Those in the market for an LC500 Convertible can also purchase the car with a new Marine Blue folding soft top that perfectly complements the new Blue & White interior. This interior configuration sees the seats, transmission tunnel, and lower portion of the dashboard finished in white while the rest of the cabin is clad in blue leather. Rounding out the updates is the availability of orange brake calipers.
It remains to be seen if and when these updates will be introduced to other markets. We’ve reached out to Lexus and will provide an update when they get back to us.
Lexus introduced the LC500 Convertible to the U.S. market in mid-2020. U.S. customers can order the top in either Black or a Sand-colored finish but (at least for now) not the new shade of Marine Blue. It is powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 with 471 hp at 7,100 rpm and 398 lb-ft (539 Nm) of torque at 4,800 rpm. The same engine is offered in the Coupe, which is also available in LC500h guise with a hybrid powertrain that consists of a 3.5-liter V6 and two electric motors for a total output of 354 hp and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque.
