The E92-generation BMW M3 will fondly be remembered as the final iteration to use a naturally-aspirated V8 and a particularly desirable Frozen Black Edition is currently up for sale.

BMW only ever built 20 examples of the M3 Frozen Black Edition for the North American market and this particular example was imported to the U.S. from Canada by the seller in 2017. It has been well maintained, driven just 21,000 miles (~34,000 km), and is being sold with manufacturer’s literature, partial service records, and a clean Carfax report.

Making M3 Frozen Black Edition models stand out from lesser variants is obviously the Frozen Black paint adorning the exterior. It also features gloss black window trim, kidney grilles, and side gills. The Bring a Trailer listing adds that paint protection film has also been applied to the front clip, door handles, and rear bumper. It also sits on the original 19-inch M3 GTS wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires measuring 255/35 at the front and 273/35 at the rear.

Found in the cabin is black Novillo leather with red contrast stitching across the seats, armrests, doors, center console, and dashboard. The car also features the Convenience package and Premium Package 2 which add voice-command navigation, rear Park Distance Control, a universal garage door opener, auto dimming interior mirror, and BMW Assist with Bluetooth.

Power comes courtesy of a 4.0-liter V8 that pumped out 414 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque from the factory. The Bring-a-Trailer listing reveals the previous owner fitted both a Macht Schnell air intake and an Akrapovic exhaust system.
