This weekend won’t be spooky for some people, it will be a dream, as their Lucid Airs are finally delivered. The company announced today that its first customer deliveries will take place on Saturday, October 30.

The first models delivered will be the Lucid Air Dream Edition. The launch version of the car, it features some of the electric vehicle’s most standout features, including a battery pack that can store up to 118 kWh of electricity.

That battery is big enough to take the Lucid Air Dream Edition Range up to 520 miles on a charge when it’s fitted with the 19-inch wheels (481 miles when fitted 21-inch wheels). Although that version makes an impressive 933 hp (946 PS/696 kW) and 1,025 lb-ft (1,390 Nm) of torque, the Lucid Air Dream Edition Performance makes 1,111 hp (1,126 PS/828 kW) and 1,025 lb-ft (1,390 Nm) of torque.

That’s enough to get the Performance model up to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 2.42 seconds and through the quarter-mile in 9.67 seconds (with the 21-inch wheels and tire package). Even in that guise, it still achieves a range of up to 451 miles, though it can go up to 471 miles with the smaller 19-inch wheels.

Upon receipt of their Air, the first customers will be invited to embark on the inaugural Lucid Rally, which is being hosted by the company’s leadership team. The customers will be taken on a route that is designed to showcase the vehicle’s ride, handling, and performance capabilities before taking their personally-configured Air home.

“Creating the Lucid Air has truly been a labor of love, with customer deliveries representing the culmination of years of endeavor from the entire Lucid team,” said Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO, Lucid Group. “So I’m truly excited to hand the keys to our first dear customers and accompany them on an inaugural drive through the iconic California countryside.”

Production of the Lucid Air started last month at the company’s Arizona factory. Prices for the Lucid Air Dream Edition start at $169,000.
