If you’re a BMW purist, this E30 3-Series could be your worst nightmare. However, if you appreciate any car that has been heavily modified, it is hard not to be blown away by this 3-Series.
The car resides in South Africa and was created by a shop called Ace Customs. Extensive work has been done to the exterior of the car, including the fitment of flared front and rear wheel arches which transform the BMW’s stance on the road.

Ace Customs has also equipped it with a sleek ducktail spoiler, side-exiting tailpipes, a bespoke bonnet, and a set of Japan Racing wheels finished in black with bright red lug nuts. The car has also been resprayed in a shade not dissimilar to Audi’s famous Nardo Grey.
Extensive work has also been done to the interior, including the removal of all unnecessary trim, the rear seats, door panels, and the standard transmission tunnel and dashboard. All the cabin now features are a pair of racing seats, an aftermarket shifter and steering wheel, a digital gauge cluster, some switches, and not much else.
Then there is the engine. Now powering the car is a 1UZ Lexus V8 that has been supplemented with a supercharger. Ace Customs says that the engine delivers roughly 230 hp through the rear wheels and while that doesn’t sound like much, the car is very light. Finally, Ace Customs have also fitted the bespoke 3-Series with BC Racing coilovers.
