Although we’re more used to seeing Gymkhana-style videos involving cars, sometimes a side-by-side like the RZR Pro R comes along that can do everything a car could and more.
Hoonigan’s latest video of vehicular mayhem involves the Polaris side-by-side tearing it up around Long Beach, home of Hoonigan’s soon-to-be-vacated home base. “What better way to give our old location a proper sendoff, than with a full Send-Off?” asks the YouTube channel.
And indeed, the video starts with a full send that sees the RZR R Pro, piloted by off-road champion R.J. Anderson, jump over a highway onramp. Such is the send that the side-by-side almost overshoots the landing, only barely hitting the end of the ramp.

Not only is the jump spectacular, but it also proves just how brave Anderson is. At no point in the onboard footage is the landing ramp visible, which I think would have provided me with a fright so intense I might never have gotten into a vehicle again.
But R.J. Anderson just shakes that off and keeps hooning throughout the streets of Long Beach, jumping over theater steps, and down onto the beach where it beats some serious off-roaders in a drag race.
It’s all an impressive and good time, as the side-by-side even tips itself onto two wheels and has Tanner Foust’s drift Passat run circles around it for no real reason.
If the video has made you curious about the Polaris RZR Pro R, join the club. The side-by-side’s specs won’t be unveiled to the world until November 9, but rumors suggest that it will be powered by a four-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, it may get a five-speed sequential transmission, and highly adjustable Fox shocks.
