GMC is embarking on an exciting period with the all-electric Hummer EV and hot on the heels of unveiling the 2021 Sierra 1500, an intriguing rendering of an aggressive pickup from the brand has been released.
This image was shared to Instagram by GM Design and was created by Nathan Zabarsky who has served as a creative designer for General Motors since mid-2017. While the rendering doesn’t depict a specific GMC model that is heading to the production line any time soon, it is still pretty cool.
The pickup immediately stands out thanks to the aggressive, upright front fascia that includes large L-shaped headlights. The lack of a traditional grille suggests that the truck would have an all-electric powertrain, which it also sports large GMC branding. The truck also has a rugged front bumper with tow hooks.

While only a single sketch of the truck was released, we can see that it also sports squared wheel arches finished in black and sits on a set of wheels with black and silver spokes. A pair of slim wing mirrors are also visible.
While the GMC Hummer EV is the sole electric pickup launched by GM recently, it will soon be joined by a number of other electric trucks, including a Silverado EV and a GMC Sierra EV.
Limited details about the forthcoming GMC Sierra EV are known, but we know that it will be a full-size pickup and won’t be as off-road-oriented as the Hummer EV.
