If you’re simply in the market for a no-frills pickup truck that won’t break the bank, you’re in luck as it has been revealed that the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra models will be offered as regular cab, two-door models with a standard length bed.
These two models are the most basic variants of the Silverado and Sierra available. In fact, a Chevrolet spokesperson has confirmed to Car and Driver that the regular cab, two-door, standard bed will only be available in entry-level Silverado WT trim. Similarly, the regular cab variant of the Sierra will only be available with the truck’s base Pro trim level.
Both the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra are also offered in regular cab, two-door guises with a longer bed, measuring 98.2-inches. The standard bed is much smaller at 79.4 inches and wasn’t available prior to the 2022 model year facelifts of the two trucks.

Neither Chevrolet nor GMC has announced pricing details for the entry-level Silverado and Sierra models.
Interestingly, the 2022 Silverado and Sierra are also sold in two-door guise with a standard bed in the Middle East but over there, shoppers are offered the duo in the higher-end Trail Boss and RST trims.
GMC only pulled the covers back on the 2022 Sierra in late October. It adopts a more refined design with a different grille and revised LED headlights with daytime running lights. Significant upgrades have also been made in the cabin of the Sierra, including the fitment of a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.4-inch infotainment screen.
