Fresh off the launch of the new 2022 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro in mid-September, the first commercial for the truck has been released.

Recently shared to YouTube, this commercial was created to showcase the toughness and power of the pickup. Toyota says it is “ready for big challenges” and to prove it, the automaker created the ‘Impossible Farmer’s Market,’ filled with some of the largest vegetables ever grown in the United States.

In one scene, the bright orange Tundra TRD Pro is seen being loaded with an enormous pumpkin that’s so large it almost fills the entire bed of the truck. We don’t know how much it weighs but it is heavy enough to compress the rear suspension by 3-4 inches. As a reminder, the 2022 Tundra has a maximum payload capacity of 1,940 lbs (880 kg).

The Tundra is just carrying a single pumpkin, however, as it is also towing a large trailer filled with two other huge pumpkins and some other massive vegetables.

Why did Toyota go down this route to promote the new Tundra? Well, according to the carmaker, the new Tundra is all about “making the impossible, possible.”

Powering the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro is the brand’s new i-Force Max powertrain that features a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 operating alongside a 10-speed automatic transmission and a motor-generator sandwiched between them. It delivers a combined 437 hp and 583 lb-ft (790 Nm) of torque. The TRD Pro also features some more off-road-focused parts than lesser Tundra variants, such as 2.5-inch FOX internal bypass shocks with piggyback reservoirs that house additional oil.
