Alpine has released the first teaser video of the “new” A110, ahead of its debut tomorrow.
Promising a “thrill at every turn,” the updated sports car is a bit of a mystery as the teaser shows the model at night and in the distance. As a result, there isn’t much to see other than a short glimpse of the car’s rear end.
While Alpine is keeping details under wraps, spy photographers caught an A110 prototype undergoing testing near the Nürburgring this fall. However, that car didn’t appear to have any styling changes so it remains unclear how extensive the updates will be.

That being said, there could be changes underneath the skin and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a retuned suspension and an updated interior. This remains to be seen, but the car was introduced at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and this means it’s due for some updates.
It remains unclear if there will be any changes to the powertrain, but the current model features a turbocharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 249 hp (185 kW / 252 PS) and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, which enables the coupe to accelerate from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds and onto an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Buyers seeking more performance can opt for the A110 S, which has an upgraded engine developing 288 hp (215 kW / 292 PS). This cuts the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time to 4.4 seconds, while also increasing the top speed to 162 mph (260 km/h).
