Halloween might be over, but Brabus didn’t get the memo as they’ve unveiled a spooktacular Mercedes-Maybach GLS.

Sporting a blacked out appearance, the crossover makes its performance known thanks to a carbon fiber front spoiler and a Brabus-branded grille.  They’re joined by carbon fiber air intake surrounds and a carbon fiber diffuser.

However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg as the model has been equipped with power retractable running boards and a stainless exhaust system featuring matte black tailpipes. Furthermore, the chrome trim has been replaced by Shadow Grey accents, while the stock wheels give way to massive 24-inchers. Speaking of the latter, the AIRMATIC suspension has been specifically calibrated to accommodate the wheels, while the ride height has also been lowered by approximately 1 inch (25 mm).

While the exterior is relatively restrained, the same can’t be said about the cabin as it features Leonis Orange leather that contrasts with carbon fiber trim. Elsewhere, there’s aluminum pedals, Shadow Grey accents and a “tailor-made business console with two retractable tables.”

Maybachs are aimed at the chauffer driven crowd, but that didn’t stop Brabus from tuning the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine to produce 789 hp (588 kW / 800 PS) and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) of torque. That’s an increase of 240 hp (179 kW / 243 PS) and 162 lb-ft (220 Nm) of torque, and this was achieved thanks to the installation of new turbos and a PowerXtra control module. This enables the all-wheel drive luxury barge to rocket from 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in 4.5 seconds, before hitting an electronically limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h).

This particular Brabus 800 isn’t our cup of tea, but each model is built to order and customers can let their imaginations run wild.
