Jaguar and clothing company Baracuta have teamed up for a special collaboration as a way to celebrate British design and the seeking out of new trends. The result is what they’re calling “The Next Classic Guide”, an aptly named guide to future design classics.
Along with this guide will come a specially made Jaguar E-Pace and Baracuta G9 jacket. The E-Pace, in P300e plug-in hybrid guise, is painted in a special color called “Neutro” and features the same tartan pattern Baracuta uses in their G9 jacket liners on the door trims, trunk floor, and contrast roof. The SUV also features the Baracuta logo on the rear quarter window, embroidered on the headrests, and projected from the puddle lights.

The car will go on tour across the UK and Europe along with a host of influencers in search of the next big trends that’s dubbed “cool-hunting”. The road trip has already begun in London, and will end at Milan Fashion Week in 2022 after visiting France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Austria and the Czech Republic. On each leg of the journey, the influencers will explore the cultures that make up each country’s identity.

Regarding the collaboration, Jaguar designer Anna Albell said: “Design is at the very heart of the Jaguar and Baracuta brands. Both have created design classics that have stood the test of time and remained relevant in the face of ever-changing tastes and cultural trends. It was therefore great to be given the responsibility of bringing these two brands together in this collaboration, after all, they have enjoyed a long association, with many of the World’s most iconic figures from stage and screen coveting both”.
