In between hosting his popular podcast, doing comedy tours around the U.S., and commentating for the UFC, Joe Rogan has also built up quite an enviable collection of cars over the years. This heavily-modified 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is the latest addition to his garage.
This Camaro started out life as an SS model that was painted black with white racing stripes and a Chevy 427 V8. It had clearly been well-maintained and for many, would have been a dream muscle car. Not for Rogan, though, who recently sent the car to Roadster Shop to be overhauled.
The expert builders at Roadster Shop quickly stripped the Camaro down to its bare shell before beginning the long process of building it back up – and making it much more impressive. New body panels were formed, the shell was strengthened, and a bespoke steel chassis was installed.

The exterior of the Chevy has been repainted in gloss black and has a number of lightweight carbon fiber parts. Then we come to the powertrain.
Gone is the 427 cubic-inch V8 and in its place sits a modified GM LSA V8 engine that has a massive supercharger and churns out more than 860 hp. Coupled to this monstrous powerplant is a Bowler T-56 Magnum XL manual transmission driving the rear wheels.
Various other upgrades have been made. For example, Rogan’s Camaro restomod has Baer six-piston brakes and sits on custom HRE wheels measuring 18×9 at the front and 19×12 at the rear. There are even 3D-printed driving lights and billet LED taillights.
