Lexus has brought a handful of special cars to the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and is celebrating its F performance brand in style.

The first car on display is a heavily-modified IS 500 built in collaboration with Hiraku Co. and Lexus ambassador Townsend Bell. It immediately stands out thanks to a one-off 3D-printed body kit that includes a new front lip, side skirts, rear diffuser, front canards, roof spoiler, trunklid spoiler, and a carbon fiber trunk. The car has then been adorned with a special vinly wrap.

In terms of performance, the car has been equipped with an A’PEXi induction box with a TOMS Racing carbon fiber suction pipe, an A’PEXi N1 Evolution Extreme quad-tip exhaust, TOMS front and rear chassis braces, 32-way adjustable coilovers, and new Brembo brakes. Completing the car are a set of one-off Rotiform LAS-R wheels with aerodisc covers.

The second car presented by Lexus is a special 2021 IS 350 F Sport produced with DSPORT Magazine and Scott Pruett. It has been presented with a special Artisan Spirits bodykit with flared fenders, a carbon fiber front splitter, side skirt extensions, a rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber rear wing with titanium mounts. The car also sits on 20-inch Rotiform wheels finished in matte bronze and includes KW Variant 3 height-adjustable coilovers.

Lexus intended on modifying the car’s powertrain but supply-chain challenges prevented it from doing so. However, it says the IS 350 F Sport will return to SEMA next year with more than double its current power.

Elsewhere, the Japanese car manufacturer has brought along the LX 600 F Sport to the event, towing behind it the Lexus RC F GT Concept from 2014.

Lexus has also announced an evolution of the F and F Sport strategy that will see four distinct F model tiers introduced with the 2022 IS 500. These consist of the F Sport Design, F Sport Handling, F Sport Performance, and F models.
