Toyota Gazoo Racing announced the reproduction of spare parts for the Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno from the ’80s as part of the GR Heritage Parts Project.
The parts to be reproduced for the AE86 include rear brake calipers and steering knuckle arms, which will be available from November 1st, plus rear driveshafts following on December 1st.
The new parts will be available in Japan through Toyota dealers and overseas, in the same way as normal genuine parts for modern vehicles. Toyota will produce the parts for a limited period of time in cooperation with its suppliers, so they will be available for as long as the stock lasts.

The Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno were produced between 1983 and 1987. The models bearing the legendary AE86 name were fitted with the 1.6-liter DOHC 16-valve engine. The rear-wheel-drive performance-oriented models have a cult following, with the 86 / GT86 (2012) and the latest GR86 (2021) being their spiritual successors.
Earlier this year, Toyota made available reproduced parts for the A70 and A80 Supra plus the Land Cruiser 40 Series, while the company also produces parts for the classic 2000GT.
