Skoda is gearing up for the unveiling of the all-new Slavia and you can watch it live at 3:30 am EST (8:30 am GMT) in the video below.
The Slavia has been developed exclusively for the Indian market and will be based on the India-specific MQB-AO-IN platform. It will slot below the Octavia with an overall length of 4,541 mm (178 inches), while at 2,651 mm (104.3 inches), its wheelbase is slightly shorter than the Octavia’s 2,686 mm (105.7 inches) .
Recent sketches released of the Slavia’s exterior and interior confirm that it will borrow obvious styling cues from other Skoda models. For example, the front fascia will be similar to the Fabia and include angular headlights, a pronounced grille, and a dramatic bumper. Additionally, Skoda has designed the sedan with bold character lines running down the sides, a sporty roofline, and sharp LED taillights.
