Sedans don’t come much more luxurious than the 2022 BMW 750i xDrive, but this particular example has seen better days.

The 750i xDrive in question is currently up for grabs through Copart and while both the exterior and interior are free from any obvious damage, the listing reveals that the car has flood damage.

No mention is made about just how the car was damaged but the most likely explanation is that it was simply left outside during flash flooding. Alternatively, there’s always the possibility that the over-confident owner tried to drive it through a flooded roadway. Whatever the case may be, repairing the car could be a lengthy and expensive process and if someone does end up buying it, we suspect they’ll look to turn a profit by stripping it down and selling what parts they can.

As mentioned, the bodywork of the car appears to be in good condition and most of the panels could be easily removed and sold. Similarly, many of the interior parts could be saved from the scrapyard, although possible electrical issues could mean some parts are a little too challenging to repair.

The BMW 750i is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V8 producing 523 hp at 6,000 rpm and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque at a low 1,800 rpm. The Copart listing doesn’t state whether or not the V8 turns over but if it has water inside it, it could prove too expensive to repair. If it is still operational, however, it could serve as the perfect engine for a project car.
