U.S. Motor Vehicle Deaths Jump 18.4% In First Half Of 2021, Hit 15 Year High

The U.S government is concerned as motor vehicle deaths have increased by 18.4% since 2020, with an estimated 20,160 fatalities caused by motor vehicle accidents in the first half of 2021. While this spike might seem normal due to travel restrictions imposed in the previous year, it is also the highest recorded number in more than a decade, and behavioral findings released by the government show speeding and traveling without a seatbelt remain high post-pandemic.


The New Ford Ranger Will Debut On November 24 As A Global Model

Ford Australia sparked excitement in the off-road community as they released a video revealing the font elements of the all-new Ford Ranger set to be released on the 24th of November. The video gave us a glimpse of the artwork and design behind the Ranger that was influenced by over 5000 surveyed people in order to create the perfect pickup. For now, we know that the Ranger has been put through its paces and is expected to be “the most versatile ranger most capable Ranger yet.”


SP Automotive Chaos Debuts As World’s First “Ultracar”, 3,065 HP Flagship Costs $14.4M

Greek startup Spyros Panopoulos Automotive just revealed the ‘Chaos’ — their first model that they claim will also take the title of the world’s first ‘Ultracar’. SP Automotive has made some bold statements about the Chaos and its capabilities, confident that it will break almost all speed records by a production car. The Chaos is said to be offered with two engine choices: the ‘Earth Version’, offered with a total power output of 2,049HP, and the ‘Zero Gravity’ version producing a barking 3,065HP. Prices are said to start at around $6.4 million and cruise past $14 million for the full-spec model.


2023 Ford Bronco DR Is A $250,000 Limited-Edition 5.0L V8 Desert Racer You Can Buy

Ford will be releasing 50 desert racer versions of the new Bronco for the public to buy. It’s based on the vehicle that will compete in the 2022 SCORE Baja 1000. As you might have imagined, the Bronco in question has been built purely for off-roading, and will not be road legal. For around $200,000, customers will get a series of high-performance upgrades designed specifically for desert conditions, all powered by a Coyote 5.0L V8 that is said to produce upwards of 400hp.


Apple Reportedly Working On Crash Detection For iPhone, Would Automatically Call 911 In Event Of An Accident

Documents obtained by The Wall Street Journal indicate that Apple is set to integrate crash detection technology into their products as early as next year. The technology will reportedly use motion sensors to detect sudden changes in gravity, acceleration, and deceleration that could be caused by an accident, and would automatically dial 911 if a collision was detected. How many false 911 calls would be triggered by the technology is a serious concern, But Apple has apparently been testing this technology for some time now and, if successful, will try to keep Apple users safer during travel.


Chevrolet Introduces The Beast At SEMA, A 650 HP, Silverado-Based Off-Roader

SEMA has seen Chevrolet introduce ‘The Beast’ — a high-performance off-roader based on the chassis of their short-bed Silverado. The unit is said to be a demonstration of the very best of what Chevrolet Performance parts can make, with the designers fine-tuning the Silverado to be the ultimate high-speed desert runner, and will be powered via a 6.2L supercharged V8 engine producing 650hp via a 10-speed automatic transmission.


Toyota Teases Hardcore Tundra TRD Pro And Tacoma Overlanding Concept For SEMA

Sticking with SEMA, Toyota recently announced their intention to release an assortment of vehicles at the show, with two of them being a Tacoma Overlanding concept and a desert chase Tundra. Details on the vehicles have been withheld, but the Tacoma looks to have received a series of off-road accessories including a set of meaty tires, a rugged front bumper with a winch, and auxiliary lights, as well as a snorkel and roof rack. The Tundra is more mysterious but is expected to be based on the 2022 Tundra TRD Pro.


2022 Dodge Durango Gains Mopar Edition With Unique Styling Inside And Out

Stellantis is honoring Mopar’s 85th anniversary with the reveal of an exclusive, limited-edition Mopar ’22 Dodge Durango, ahead of its SEMA debut. These special edition Durangos will receive unique styling both inside and out and will be offered in either White Knuckle or DB Black along with a Mopar Blue body stripe. Interior modifications are subtle, but high-quality leather and suede carrying the Mopar logo along with a few other extras can be observed. Only 250 units will be released, with orders being accepted early next year.

Musk, replying to a Twitter thread on the topic, said that if the WFP could describe how the plan would be achieved, he would sell Tesla stock and do it.

The hashtag “#FacebookDead” has been trending in Isreal, as the decision to go with the name “Meta” is being ridiculed by Hebrew speakers as it translates to “dead.” The name change is part of a major rebrand that will see the company reach beyond social media and move into more virtual reality projects.
