The opening screenshot is a speculative illustration for a two-door 2023 Integra that is not related to nor endorsed by Acura.
As a compact sedan, the new Acura Integra Prototype looks fairly nice. However, many people don’t think it is fitting of an Integra badge, largely because it has two extra doors, and this prompted TheSketchMonkey to work his magic and transform it into a coupe.
The YouTuber says that Acura did quite a good job with the overall design and shape of the new Integra, noting that it is fitting of the brand’s current design language. What that being said, he doesn’t think it should be called an Integra so he sets about making it a little more fitting of the name.

The designer started out by tweaking the front fascia of the Integra. As standard, the car has a large black front grille and a large secondary black grille lower down on the bumper. TheSketchMonkey decided to shrink the front grille and also tweaked the shape of the lower grille and intakes. The finished design looks more reminiscent of the DC2-generation Integra.
Of course, the most significant alteration made is the move from the Integra Prototype being a sedan to it being a coupe. The roofline of the car works quite well for a coupe and a pair of large doors also look the part. He also equipped it with a set of five-spoke aftermarket wheels and a rear wing reminiscent of both the DC2 and DC5 models.
While it is a shame that the Integra isn’t the car we were expecting, the presence of the Honda Civic Si’s powertrain should make it fun to drive.
