A stunning 1963 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport continuation vehicle that was built in 2015 has hit the used car market and is looking for a new home.
The car came to life after Duntov Motor Company was awarded an exclusive licensing agreement from GM to continue production of the 1963 Corvette Grand Sport. Duntov acquired the original blueprints and body molds and this is one of just 13 continuation models that were built.
Powering the car is a 427 cubic-inch Chevrolet V8 that was custom built by McCabe Motorsports and includes a Holley Q-series Black Diamond carburetor. This powerful engine is coupled to a six-speed Tremec manual transmission driving the rear wheels and punching out 700 hp through the rear wheels.

Interestingly, the Corvette Grand Sport continuation models were built to 7/8 scale of the original model to reduce weight.
This particular example has a dark bronze/brown paint finish that really sparkles under the sun. It is also equipped with eye-catching aftermarket wheels wrapped in sticky tires that help to ensure those 700 horses don’t go to waste.
The interior is just as special as the exterior and includes brown leather across the seats, dashboard, and transmission shifter boot. The ‘Vette also has a three-spoke steering wheel with a wooden rim and a number of yellow gauges.
The car, which has been driven just 3,000 miles (~4,800 km), has been listed up for sale on Autotrader with a price tag of $209,995. While that’s a lot of money, it is significantly less than an original Corvette Grand Sport that’s valued at upwards of $5 million.
