The Land Cruiser has always been a pretty popular nameplate in Australia, where a large portion of its owners is using it for off-road adventures. The latest Land Cruiser 300 Series is already available to order down under so local tuner TJM presented their off-road-focused upgrades for those who want to make it even more capable outside the beaten track.
In order to showcase the tuning package, TJM applied all of the components on a brand new Land Cruiser. Visually, the most eye-catching feature is the metal bumper with an integrated bull bar designed to be airbag and ADAS sensor compatible.

The “Outback Bar”, which is one of the bull-bar options, can be either black or color-coded, featuring a steel winch frame, 8,000kg-rated recovery points, and additional LED driving lights, foglights, and indicators. Skid plates and underbody guards will keep the mechanical parts intact from any large rocks you might encounter.
An extension above the fenders that connects the bull bar with the side steps is offering extra protection. Other modifications include the AirTec snorkel and the roof rack. The latter comes with an LED bar and is compatible with other accessories and gear like a shovel or a retractable tent.

Besides making the new generation Land Cruiser look tougher, TJM is also offering suspension upgrades. The XGS suspension features advanced twin-tube shock absorbers with Multi-Stage Velocity-Controlled Valving as well as bespoke upper control arms. Thanks to the chunky tires fitted on black-painted beadlock wheels and the lift kit, ground clearance has been further increased. Last but not least, the tuned Land Cruiser has more load-carrying capacity than the stock model thanks to the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) upgrades.
The Australian-spec Land Cruiser Series 300 is exclusively available with the twin-turbo 3.3-liter V6 turbodiesel producing 304 hp (227 kW / 309 PS) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 10-speed automatic gearbox with the help of a standard center differential lock. In other markets, the SUV is also available with the twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 petrol producing 409 hp (305 kW / 415 PS) and 650 Nm of torque (479 lb-ft).
According to TJM’s official website, the tuning kit for the LC 300 will be available in 2022. The tuner hasn’t disclosed pricing for the available parts but it has already started receiving pre-orders.
