The Spyker brand may have never taken off in the early 2000s quite like founders Victor Muller and Maarten de Bruijn but during the years that the company was operational, it did produce some pretty cool cars. The C8 Spyder was one of them.
It is unclear precisely how many C8 Spyders were produced but it’s not very often that a particularly pristine example like this one pops up for sale. This C8 Spyder is a 2006 model and was sold new in Europe before being imported into the U.S. in September 2010. It has lived in Kentucky, Michigan, and Florida over the years before being acquired by the selling dealer in May 2020.

Adorning the aluminum bodywork is a Champion Silver paint finish complete with various chrome accents. The standard center-locking 19-inch Aeroblade wheels are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires measuring 235/35 at the front and 265/30 at the rear, the Bring a Trailer listing reveals.
Found in the cabin of the Spyker C8 Spyder is beautifully-stitched black leather across the seats, dashboard, kick panels, center console, and transmission tunnel. A look at the odometer reveals the car has been driven less than 3,500 miles(5,632 km).
Powering the car is an mid-mounted 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 sourced from Audi pumping out 400 hp and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque. This engine is coupled to a six-speed Getrag manual transmission driving the rear wheels through a Drexler limited-slip differential.
At the time of writing, and with one day left in the auction, the highest bid for this low-mileage C8 Spyder was $230,000.
