BMW pulled out all stops in unveiling the Concept XM earlier this week and even called upon legendary recording artist Nas to help with its launch.
The Concept XM was showcased at a special event for Art Basel in Miami Beach and at the event, New York-based artist and sculptor Kennedy Yanko also revealed a special sculpture. BMW has since moved the Concept XM to the Miami Beach convention center where it will be displayed from December 1-4.
“This moment of co-creation between visual art and music by Kennedy Yanko and NAS brings together two cultural fields that have inspired each other for many decades and are two main areas of BMW brand cooperations,” head of BMW brand communication and experience Stefan Ponikva said in a statement.

“It all started with a dialogue with our designers around the BMW Concept XM and this exchange on eye-level is what makes our collaborations authentic. Art Basel is one of the most renowned art fairs with plenty creative and expressive minds across the disciplines, offers us the perfect platform to present our latest cultural engagement.”

This is largely thanks to the striking front fascia that includes a massive kidney grille surrounded by LED daytime running lights and a set of very small headlights.
