Stellantis used their EV Day event to introduce a mysterious Chrysler crossover concept.
Fast forward to today and the automaker has confirmed the concept is called the Airflow, and will be celebrating its official debut at CES.
The company will have more to say about the model on January 5th, but they teased the Airflow will lead the “brand’s transformation to clean mobility and seamlessly connected customer experiences.”

While Stellantis is staying tight-lipped, the concept features streamlined styling, plastic body cladding, and large alloy wheels. The model also appears to be roughly the same size as the Ford Mustang Mach-E.
The cabin is decidedly more futuristic as it features a digital instrument cluster, a freestanding infotainment system, and a front passenger display just like the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The concept has also been equipped with a rear seat entertainment system, a floating center console, and a minimalist design.
When the concept was originally introduced earlier this year, Ralph Gilles suggested it rode on the upcoming STLA Large platform. It’s slated to underpin electric vehicles with a range of up to 500 miles (805 km), thanks to a battery pack with a capacity ranging from 101 to 118 kWh. However, more recent reports have suggested it could be based on the STLA Medium platform and go into production by 2024.
Besides the Airflow, Stellantis will be showcasing a handful of other models including the Citroën Ami and Skate Mobility concept as well as the New Fiat 500. They’ll be joined by an assortment of Jeeps such as the Grand Cherokee 4xe, Wrangler 4xe, and Wagoneer / Grand Wagoneer.
