Ferrari announced it will be celebrating its 75th anniversary throughout 2022, by unveiling a special logo and publishing a video featuring many of its employees.
The logo was created for the 75 years that have passed since Enzo Ferrari opened a small factory in Maranello back in 1947. It includes the number 75 alongside the prancing horse and the 1947-2022 lettering. To commemorate the milestone, John Elkann, Ferrari Chairman, introduced a sculpture of the iconic prancing horse. The latter is a giant puzzle, created with the help of all Ferrari employees who placed each individual piece.

John Elkann, Ferrari Chairman, said: “For this special year we have created a special icon: a sculpture made up of thousands of components forged here in our factory and positioned one by one by my Ferrari colleagues. It is a symbol of the Ferrari spirit which is shared both here in Maranello and by all our family around the world. It reflects the essence of who we are, our past 75 years, and our future. It is a symbol of a company that, as Enzo Ferrari once said – Above all, is made of people”.
The official video highlights the values of passion, teamwork, pride, and excellence, with words like innovation, tradition, pride, and dreams spoken by different members of the Ferrari staff. After all, Enzo himself is quoted with the following phrase: “Factories are made of people, machines, and buildings. Ferrari, above all, is made of people”.
Back in 2017, Ferrari celebrated its 70th anniversary with 350 special editions of all of its models, the limited-production La Ferrari Aperta, and a variety of events all around the world. This year finds the company with the Daytona SP3 from the limited production Icona Series, although it is not clear if any special edition models will be included in the anniversary celebration plans for 2022.
