Gunther Werks has previewed the latest 993 Speedster Remastered model it is building and to call it gorgeous would be an understatement.

The company unveiled its 993 Speedster Remastered at August’s Monterey Car Week in California. The first unit built was finished in a dark shade of green but this particular example is shaping up to look even more captivating thanks to the Viola Metallic paint.

Previewed through a series of detailed renderings, we can see that this Speedster has been commissioned with Fuchs-style wheels, purple and gold ‘Porsche’ details on the sides, and purple brake calipers. A number of exposed carbon fiber elements are also visible, including the windshield surround, the rollover hoops behind the headrests, and parts of the engine cover and ducktail spoiler.

These images only provide us with a glimpse of the car’s cabin but we can see it has been optioned with carbon fiber-backed bucket seats finished in white with purple contrast stitching and piping.

All 993 Speedster Remastered models by Gunther Werks are powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six from Rothsport Racing that pumps out in excess of 435 hp and 335 lb-ft (454 Nm) of torque. This power is sent to the rear wheels thanks to an upgraded version of the 993’s original Getrag manual transmission. The car also tips the scales at a mere 2,590 lbs (1,175 kg) thanks to the extensive use of carbon fiber.

Gunther Werks is building just 25 examples of the 993 Speedster Remastered, although pricing has yet to be announced.
