G-Power is no stranger to fast BMWs, so it is not surprising that it announced a series of tuning packages for the M5 CS. After all, this is the lightest, most powerful, and most expensive variant in the facelifted M5 range, and despite its ample power, there will be a few owners that want to take things further by paying a visit to aftermarket companies.

The stock M5 CS is a great starting point since the twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 produces 627 hp (468 kW / 636 PS) and 750 Nm (553 lb-ft) of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission and the rear-biased M xDrive all-wheel drive system.

The entry-level tuning package is called the GP-700 and includes software upgrades, taking the M5 CS to 690 hp (515 kW / 700 PS) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) of torque. The GP-740 is adding the GP Deeptone exhaust system for 730 hp (544 kW / 740 PS) and 900 Nm (664 lb-ft). Then there is the GP-780 with sports downpipes increasing it further to 769 hp (573 kW / 780 PS) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft).

The GP-820 kit, which is the one fitted in the pictured examples, has even more hardware adjustments resulting in 809 hp (603 kW / 820 PS) and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft). Finally, the flagship GP-900 tops out at 887 hp (662 kW / 900 PS) and 1,050 Nm (774 lb-ft), making the M5 CS a true supercar killer. This immense power was achieved with upgraded turbochargers, sports downpipes, and the Deeptone exhaust system.

The company was already offering many options for the pre-facelift BMW M5, including the hardcore G5M Hurricane RS and G5M Hurricane RR which will continue to be offered for the updated model, producing either 828 hp (618 kW / 840 PS) or 887 hp (662 kW / 900 PS).

Design-wise, the only differences with the stock M5 CS in the pictured examples are the forged wheels and the 100 mm tailpipes which are available in carbon or forged carbon. However, the tuner has more available options for those who want an aftermarket look including the GP-Ventury vented carbon fiber bonnet and the GP-Dynamic rear wing. The multi-spoke wheels from the Hurricane RS and the double-spoke wheels from the Hurricane RR are offered in 21 inches shod in performance tires measuring 285/30R21 at the front and 295/30R21 at the rear. Alternatively, the double-spoke rims are also offered with a diameter of 20-inches shod in 275/35R20 and 285/35R20 tires.

As for pricing, the tuning packages start from as low as €2,495 ($2,833) for the software-only GP-700, but can reach €23,640 ($26,852) for a full-spec GP-820 (hardware, software, and visual tweaks) and even higher for the GP-900 that is currently missing from the tuner’s online configurator. As for the Hurricane models, the total cost of upgrades is €59,500 ($67,595) for the RS, escalating up to an eye-watering €119,000 ($135,228) for the RR.
