A first-generation Tesla Roadster has hit the used car market and it looks set to sell for a serious sum.

This particular Roadster 2.5 Sport was purchased new by the current seller’s father in November 2011. Finished in Ruby Red and as a 2011 model, it benefited from a number of updates, including revised front and rear fascias. Making it particularly desirable is the fact that it has only ever been driven 1,300 miles (2,092 km) and is currently offered at no reserve in Colorado with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.

Complementing the Ruby Red paint scheme are 16-inch front and 17-inch rear forged alloy wheels wrapped in 175/55 and 225/45 Yokohama Advan Neova AD07 tires. As a Sport model, the car also has double-wishbone suspension with adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars while braking is provided by AP Racing calipers with Brembo pads and cross-drilled rotors.

Powering the Lotus Elise-based model is a 53 kWh battery pack with a single electric motor driving the rear wheels and producing 288 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque.

Given how little the car has been driven, it is no surprise that the interior shows very little signs of wear. Among the key features found within are heated black leather seats with Tesla embroidery, air conditioning, cruise control, an Alpine infotainment system with navigation, and power windows.

With 8 days left in the auction, bidding on the Bring a Trailer auction had exceeded $90,000 and will likely top the $100,000 mark before the auction ends.
