There was a time when selling a “brand new used car” for above retail was reserved for supercars, but of late, demand for popular models and a restriction of supply has seen stories like this: a man offered nearly $17,000 over the sticker price of his Ford Bronco. Would you do it?
NIO Debuts New ET5 Electric Sedan Rival To Tesla Model 3 With Up To 1,000 km Range
The ET5 compact sedan (well, technically it’s a liftback, but whatever) is set to do battle with the likes of the Tesla Model 3, and BMW i4. It’ll be a smaller brother to the ET7, with which it shares a lot of visual similarities. It’s powered by twin electric motors rated at 150kW at the front and 210kW at the rear producing a combined 360kW (483 hp) and 700Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque. That’s good for a 100km/h (62mph) time of 4.3 seconds. The new car from Nio can also do over 550 km (342 miles) with the 75 kWh Standard Range Battery, over 700 km (435 miles) with the 100 kWh Long Range Battery, and in excess of 1,000 km (621 miles) with the 150 kWh Ultralong Range Battery.

If your standard Land Cruiser 200 doesn’t look butch enough already, then we have good news. Russian tuner Khann International (no relation to Project Kahn) is offered a Land Cruiser 200 Expedition. Inspired by requests from Australian and Middle Eastern clientele, the Expedition features a new off-road front bumper, a unique grille, plastic protection elements, and an LED bar to name a few. With a long waitlist for the latest 300 series, maybe a refreshed take on a 200 could tide those over for the time being.

Customers who ordered vehicles that Tesla no longer produces are getting a nasty surprise when they attempt to re-order a new vehicle that is currently in production, as Tesla fails to honor pricing for features whose prices have since risen. When it came to one customer’s ordered Model Y Long-Range Rear-Wheel Drive variant before it went out of production, they were asked to pay an increase of $5,000 for full-self driving in addition to the extra $20,000 for the new model.

Judging by the render, it could just be one of the funkiest panel vans out there.
QOTD: What Car Should You Have Bought, But You Didn’t Have The Balls?
We’ve all had that moment of “what if.” But what if the “what if” was because you were merely too chicken. Maybe it was a car that has since exploded in value or something that would’ve been a stretch, but would have made your time on the road just that bit more enjoyable. Or maybe there’s a car you could have picked up, but chose something else instead, purely because you wanted a better spec over a tidier example.
