A rare McLaren 650S Le Mans, one of just 50 examples produced worldwide, has hit the used car market in the UK.
The British automaker introduced the model to celebrate its victory at the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. It was built by McLaren Special Operations and of the 50 units built, 49 were painted in Sarthe Grey. This particular example is the only one painted in Solar Yellow.
The Piston Heads listing reveals that the car’s paint scheme is inspired by the famed Harrods-sponsored McLaren F1 GTR that finished third at Le Mans. The original owner of this 650S Le Mans is a friend of the F1 GTR owner and was granted special permission from McLaren to have the car painted in a matching shade of yellow, making this 650S truly unique.

As a Le Mans variant of the McLaren 650S, the car features an MSO carbon fiber roof scoop, an enlarged carbon fiber rear diffuser, various Le Mans badges, a carbon fiber splitter, carbon side skirts, front wheel louvers, and unique five-spoke lightweight alloy wheels. The brake calipers are also finished in Solar Yellow.
A look inside the cabin of the mid-engined supercar reveals a combination of black leather and Alcantara. There are also the available comfort seats, various pieces of carbon fiber, and Meridian speakers.
Like all other variants of the 650S, the car is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 delivering 641 hp and 500 lb-ft (678 Nm) of torque.
The listing reveals this special 650S Le Mans has been driven 6,100 miles (9,816 km) and has an asking price of £239,950 (~$317,000).
