A 1963 Ford Falcon restomod is looking for a new home and will be auctioned off with no reserve by Barrett-Jackson at its Scottsdale event running from January 22-30, 2022.

This Ford Falcon shares very little in common with the stock car and is finished in a stunning color dubbed Vivid Red Metallic. It also sports aftermarket wheels with a chrome finish and has door handles that sit flush with the bodywork. Other exterior highlights include the chrome front grille, chrome trim running down both sides, and the silver taillight surrounds.

The listing adds that the interior has undergone just as many modifications as the exterior and now sports custom ProCar bucket seats wrapped in Tobacco-colored leather. The car also features a transmission tunnel and dashboard finished in the same shade of Vivid Red Metallic as the exterior.

Then there is the powertrain. Pocking out from a hole in the hood is a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated Coyote V8 pumping out 430 hp that’s coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission which drives the rear wheels through a Ford 9-inch rear end. The V8 also features a unique carbon fiber engine cover.

Joining the powerful new engine are Wilwood drilled and slotted brake discs at all four corners, an independent front suspension from Checkered Racing, a RideTech air-ride suspension, and a bespoke exhaust system.

No pre-auction estimate has been made public, but Barrett-Jackson has confirmed that the Falcon has received a number of awards over the years.
