When A Jeep Shop Gets Its Hands On A Ford, The Result Is 700 HP Coyote-Powered Ford Bronco

When the Ford Bronco was released, it looked like the Jeep Wrangler might finally have some true, homegrown competition. Indeed, now even Jeep specialists like Florida’s SoFlo Jeeps are working their magic on the off-roader.

The team calls their build the SoFlo Stallion. To start off, the engine has been pried out and replaced with a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 that you might recognize from the Mustang. Unlike Ford, SoFlo isn’t satisfied with stock power outputs, though, and the Stallion can be made to feature a supercharged version of the engine that produces 700+ hp (710 PS/ 522 kW).

The tuning house also gives the Bronco a 3.5-inch (89mm) suspension lift with steering stabilizers to make sure that you have as much control on the highway as you would off-road.

In addition, the SoFlo Stallion rides on 37-inch Patagonia tires that feature a quiet center-tread design to make them easier to live with day to day. They are wrapped around 20-inch SFJ bronze five-spoke rims from Fuel.

“Our truck has bigger tires and rims and a more capable suspension that allows the driver to conquer all off-road obstacles, while hitting 100 mph with comfort on the highway,” says the company.

The look is completed by a custom steel bumper that’s fabricated in-house and finished in black Kevlar, as well as steel sidesteps, and a King Ranch marine-grade tan and dark brown leather interior, that’s weather-resistant.

Finally, buyers can opt for a handcrafted fiberglass slant back top. Currently available on the tuner’s website for purchase on its own for $9,250, the slant back can be shipped to anyone with a Bronco who’s looking to make it look special.

SoFlo states it has already produced 25 Stallions with prices ranging from $79,999 to $89,000, though those are for the regular non-V8 conversions. We’ve reached out to the company about the cost of the Coyote V8 upgrade and we’ll update this post as soon as we hear back from them.  Lastly, SoFlo says the Bronco can be shipped worldwide, right to their customer’s door.
