Thanks to inflation, virtually everything is more expensive than it used to be. That includes the 2022 Nissan Rogue Sport, which is currently arriving at U.S. dealerships with a base price of $24,260.
That’s $100 more than last year’s model, but it’s worth noting the destination and handling fee has climbed from $1,175 to $1,225. As a result, customers will need to shell out an extra $150 to purchase the latest Rogue Sport.
So what does that extra money get you? Nothing by the looks of it as Nissan didn’t mention any newly standard equipment or features.

On the bright side, there are an assortment of standard safety features including Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Rear Automatic Braking, and Lane Departure Warning. They’re joined by Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and High Beam Assist.
The Rogue Sport SV starts at $25,830 and it features fog lights as well as roof rails. Other highlights include heated front seats, an eight-way power driver’s seat, a heated leather steering wheel, and a six-speaker audio system. They’re joined by a dual-zone automatic climate control system and an intelligent key with a push button ignition.
Lastly, the range-topping Rogue Sport SL begins at $28,890. It features larger 19-inch alloy wheels and an upgraded interior with leather seats as well as GPS navigation. Speaking of tech, the model comes with an Intelligent Around View Monitor, Intelligent Cruise Control, Traffic Sign Recognition, and ProPILOT Assist.
Regardless of which trim is selected, all Rogue Sports are equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine developing 141 hp (105 kW / 143 PS) and 147 lb-ft (199 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to an Xtronic continuously variable transmission, which can be paired to an optional all-wheel drive system for an additional $1,500.
