If there’s one model that defines Cadillac, it’s the range-topping Escalade.

Despite this, the automaker has resisted the temptation to offer a high-performance variant. That’s about to change as Cadillac will introduce “something exciting” tomorrow.

While that’s purposely vague, the automaker accidently sent out a tweet confirming it’s the Escalade-V. The message was quickly deleted, but it doesn’t matter much as the teaser shows the Escalade-V being flanked by the CT4- and CT5-V as well as their Blackwing variants.

Driven: The 2021 Cadillac Escalade Finally Feels Like A Proper Flagship

There isn’t much to see, but previous spy photos have shown the high-performance model will be distinguished by a unique grille and a lightly modified front bumper with mesh accents. They’ll be joined by a four-tailpipe exhaust system and unique wheels backed up by a high-performance braking system.

Cadillac is keeping details under wraps, but the model is expected to use the same supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine as the CT5-V Blackwing. In the sedan, it produces 668 hp (498 kW / 677 PS) and 659 lb-ft (893 Nm) of torque. Needless to say, that’s a huge improvement over the naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 that develops 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS) and 460 lb-ft (623 Nm) of torque.

We’ll learn full details shortly, but the Escalade-V will likely be one of the most expensive Cadillacs ever offered as the 2022 model starts at $76,295 and climbs to $106,290 for the Escalade ESV Sport Platinum.
