Kicking things off will be the availability of the 2-Series Coupe with a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that’s good for 245 hp and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. This engine will be offered in the 230i Coupe variant and is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic transmission and all-wheel drive. It can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.9 seconds.
Elsewhere, BMW has confirmed that from March 2022, a new 223i xDrive variant of the 2-Series Active Tourer will launch. It pairs the intelligent all-wheel drive system with a four-cylinder engine with 48-volt mild-hybrid technology to produce 218 hp and hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.9 seconds. Sticking with the 2-Series Active Tourer, it will also be available in a new shade dubbed Piedmont Red and has been updated with a new Driving Assistant Plus package that includes Steering and Lane Guidance Assist.
