The 458 Speciale is one of the finest V8-powered supercars ever developed by Ferrari and a low-mileage example is currently up for auction through Bring a Trailer.
While the 458 Speciale isn’t as potent as the 488 Pista that replaced it, it has something that car doesn’t: a high-revving, naturally aspirated V8. Based on the standard 458 Italia, the Speciale is equipped with a 4.5-liter V8 pumping out 597 hp and 398 lb-ft (539 Nm) of torque. It and the subsequent 458 Speciale Aperta were Ferrari’s final production cars to feature a naturally aspirated V8 and are bound to soar in value moving forward.

This particular example was sold new by Ferrari of Los Angeles and purchased by the current owner in 2015 and moved to North Carolina. It is finished in Bianco Avus and sports red and green NART racing stripes. It also has red brake calipers, red and green fender grilles, Scuderia Shields on the front fenders, and electrochromatic mirrors, as well as five-spoke 20-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
A look inside the cabin reveals carbon fiber-backed racing seats clad in black leather with red accents and contrast stitching. Swathes of carbon fiber accents are found throughout the interior, including on the steering wheel.
The listing reveals that this 458 Speciale has been driven just 3,600 miles (~5,793 km) since new and is being offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title. The window sticker reveals it had an original price tag of $349,800 and with six days left in the auction at the time of writing, bidding stood at $375,000.
