You’ve never seen a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible quite like this before and the intriguing creation will cross the auction block on January 16.

This Camaro ZL1 has been overhauled by Vision Retro Designs and inspired by the 1969 Chevelle Super Sport. The car is officially known as the A69 Limited Edition and this unit served as the lead prototype and promotional vehicle used by Vision Retro Designs. It is hard to say how much it will sell for but it is certainly unique.

The first thing that strikes you about the car are the host of custom body panels. Found at the front is an overhauled bumper, grille, and distinctive headlights that bear a resemblance to those of the Chevelle that inspired this creation. The Camaro has also been adorned with a Sparkling Burgundy paint finish that is highlighted with stripes and a number of exposed carbon fiber parts.

Elsewhere, the Chevy sports a set of 20-inch chrome-finished wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Sport tires. Found at the rear is a unique bumper, tailgate, and taillights, the listing reveals.

Custom touches have also been made to the muscle car’s interior, including unique Nappa leather upholstery highlighted with red accents. Various touches of carbon fiber are also found throughout and a serialized plaque has been stuck to the dashboard.

Powering the car is Chevrolet’s 6.2-liter LSA supercharged V8 with 580 hp and coupled to an automatic transmission. Making the engine bay stand out is a carbon fiber strut tower brace.
