Japanese tuning outfit Veilside unveiled its wild bodykit for the Toyota Supra at the Tokyo Auto Salon and as the teaser images suggested last year, it is absolutely wild.
Veilside has a long and proud history of transforming all kinds of cars. Among its most famous creations is its Mazda RX-7 bodykit which is so outlandish that it makes the car almost unrecognizable as a Mazda. While its new GR Supra creation named VFS90R is still easy to identify as a Toyota, it is no less head-turning than the RX-7.

Virtually every body panel of the car has been changed. These alterations start at the front where there is a revised bumper with enlarged air intakes and a splitter protruding out from the front-end. Aerodynamic fins have also been added to either side of the bumper. Veilside has then placed an all-new hood with pronounced lines and creases to really make it stand out. The tuner also affixed its own badge.
Elsewhere, the GR Supra has been transformed with flared front and rear wheel arches, drastically altering its stance on the road. It is also sitting on a set of five-spoke wheels with a chrome finish and also features unique side skirts.
The tuner’s modifications continue at the rear and include a unique ducktail spoiler significantly larger than ordinarily found on the Supra. A beefed-up bumper and diffuser have also been fitted, as have titanium tailpipes.
The creation appears to have walked away with a best in show award in Tokyo and Veilside has confirmed that it is now selling the bodykit. Pricing details have yet to be made public.
