Visitors to the Porsche Experience Centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles can now drive the 992-generation 911 GT3, alongside a number of other Porsche models.
Those participating in a drive at the Porsche Experience Centers are offered the chance to play around on a host of different track modules, some of which are designed to simulate everyday driving conditions while others are more difficult and put the drivers’ skills to the test.

The first driving experience at the Atlanta site involving the 911 GT3 allows drivers to spend 90 minutes with the car, although pricing details for this experience haven’t been announced. Porsche also offers a 90-minute ‘911 GT3 vs 911 Turbo’ experience for $1,095 and a ‘GT3 Generations’ experience for $1,200 where drivers can compare the 991 and 992 generation GT3s.
At the Los Angeles facility, a host of 90-minute experiences are available, including the ‘911 GT’ experience, the ‘911 GT3 vs 911 Turbo’ experience ($1,175), and the ‘911 GT3 Generations’ ($1,275). A four-hour ‘911 GT3 Accelerated’ program is also available, as is a four-hour ‘911 GT3 Generations Accelerated’ program, although prices for these two haven’t been announced.
“Like all Porsche sports cars, the new 911 GT3 is meant to be driven – and this one even more so, since it was born from motorsports and tailored to the road,” president and chief executive of Porsche Cars North America Kjell Gruner said. “The feel, the sound and the dynamics make for a very special experience that anyone can enjoy on the closed track with personal instruction. I’m sure the new GT programs will bring an extra level of excitement to our centers in Atlanta and Los Angeles.”
