What you’re looking at is one of the most unique Ford Model A Pickups you’re ever likely to come across and it is currently up for sale.

The truck has been listed up for sale through MotoExotica in Fenton, Missouri and has a $57,500 asking price. Bidding is also open at an eBay auction.

This particular Model A Pickup was built by the owner of Old Dog Street Rods and is said to have cost over $200,000 to create. Gone is the original chassis and underpinning the truck is a new chassis with independent front suspension and a bespoke front end.

Fitted into this chassis is a 350 cubic-inch Chevrolet V8 that features Dart headers, eight-stack electronic fuel injection, Powermaster alternators and starters and a custom Zero to Cool radiator, and is coupled to a Bowles four-speed automatic transmission and a Currie nine-inch polished Ford rear end. The listing doesn’t mention how much power the truck has but it is obviously more than it originally left the factory with.

Comprehensive changes have also been made to the bodywork of the truck. For example, there is an all-new front fascia with a large vertical grille and four round headlights. There is also a unique grille and revised side panels over the aftermarket wheels. The bed has also been overhauled and sports wooden paneling.

Alterations have also been made in the cabin of the Model A. For example, there is now tan-colored leather upholstery as well as tan carpets and a matching tan headliner. An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel is also featured alongside an Ididit custom steering column, a swing-away column mount and a new seat of gauges.
