It has been more than a year since the PlayStation 5 hit the market and still, Sony is having a hard time keeping up with demand, meaning many consumers have still yet to get their hands on the console. Fortunately, there is now a solution, although it does require the purchase of a Toyota Yaris.

Toyota’s Spanish division has just unveiled the Yaris GR Sport GT7 (for Gran Turismo 7) Edition that’s capped at just 100 units and will be made available from March 4. The Japanese automaker is a partner with the Gran Turismo series and each of the Yaris GR Sport GT7 models sold will come with a PlayStation 5 console and a free copy of Gran Turismo 7.

A handful of changes have been made to the Yaris to ensure it stands out from a typical model. For example, it is finished in a shade dubbed ‘Gris Dynamique’ and sits on a set of 18-inch wheels. Additionally, Toyota has equipped the Yaris GR Sport GT7 Edition with some Gran Turismo branding. Each unit sold will also have a personalized smart key and a plaque on the interior that denotes the chassis number of the car.

In addition to receiving a copy of Gran Turismo 7 and a PlayStation 5, customers will receive a DualSense controller and be provided with a three-month PlayStation Plus subscription.

Toyota Spain has not yet announced how much the Yaris GR Sport GT7 Edition will cost but has confirmed that the first deliveries will start in May.

While the Yaris in question may have a ‘GR’ badge, it is not the high-performance GR Yaris variant that has sent the hot hatch world into raptures since its launch. Instead, it is a five-door model driven by a 1.5-liter Atkinson Cycle petrol engine with 90 hp that’s supplemented by an 80 hp electric motor, making for a combined output of 114 hp.
