The 2023 Acura Integra may be reviving the iconic Integra nameplate but it likely will be closely related to the Honda Civic Si. If you want a real Integra, you need to look back to the mid-1990s and early-2000s for something like this 1996 Honda Integra Type R Sedan.
Most people are familiar with the DC2-generation Integra Type R. It is, after all, one of the most iconic front-wheel drive performance cars in recent memory. However, the sedan variant isn’t as well known and a particularly rare example has just hit the market.
This Integra Type R has been listed up for auction through Bring a Trailer. It is a right-hand drive model that was imported into the United States in 2021 and has 137,000 km (~85,000 miles) under its belt.

Adorning the exterior of the car is Honda’s iconic shade of Championship White and the car sits on the standard color-matched 15-inch wheels that are shod in Yokohama S.drive tires. The exterior of the car shows no obvious signs of damage, other than some minor dents, and has clearly been well maintained and cared for over the years.
Found in the cabin are Recaro bucket seats clad in black cloth with red contrast stitching. While the car is short on amenities compared to a modern performance car, it does feature air conditioning and power windows and has been updated with an aftermarket Panasonic touchscreen stereo.
Driving the Integra Type R Sedan is a 1.8-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine that comes complete with Honda’s VTEC variable valve timing and is good for 197 hp and 131 lb-ft (177 Nm) of torque. This power is sent to the front wheels courtesy of a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. According to the listing, the car recently underwent a service where the accessory pulley and drive belts were replaced.
