Lucid Recalls Air Just Months After Rolling Off The Line Over A Suspension Part

203 Lucid Air models are being recalled because a part of the suspension assembly may have been installed incorrectly. The issue apparently lies with the supplier, who would have fitted the snap rings on the part in the wrong orientation. “This condition may result in sudden loss of ground clearance, vehicle vibration, and front brake line damage, increasing the risk of a crash,” Lucid wrote in an e-mail to owners.

The CX-60 will debut on March 8, but Mazda has decided to offer us a sneak peek of what to expect from the new SUV. Seen are high-quality interior materials, including fabric upholstery, maple wood, Nappa leather, Japanese textiles on woven fabrics, and chrome details. The Mazda CX-60 is one of the four new SUVs set to debut in 2022 and 2023 as part of the “Large Product Group.” The CX-60 five-seater and CX-80 seven-seater will be sold in Europe and Japan, while the wider CX-70 and CX-90 will be available in North America.

Volkswagen’s ID.4 Pro gets 20 extra miles for the 2022 model year. Its EPA-estimate range is now 280 miles but retains the same battery pack and motors. In addition, VW has improved the ID. 4’s DC-fast charging speeds, from 125 kW to 135 kW. How it’s done so remains a mystery and still doesn’t trump the ID.4’s nearest rival, the Ford Mustang Mach E.


The 2022 Volvo S60 Black Edition Will Be Limited To Just 450 Examples

Volvo will be adding a special Black Edition to the S60 sedan, which will be limited to just 450 examples for the US market. The Black Edition adds a tonne of black trim, including a black grille, exhaust tips, badges, and grille slash. It’ll be available in full murdered-out Onyx Black Metallic or a more contrasting Crystal White Metallic.
