Pink probably isn’t a color most of us associate with McLaren’s spectacularly rapid 765LT, the hardcore big brother of the 720S supercar.
But if it’s a pink LT you want, and you’re willing to pay handsomely for the privilege, McLaren’s SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) will make it happen. And as these pictures show, it’s happened at least once, resulting in this eye-popping fuchsia-themed coupe, which was recently delivered to its commissioning customer by McLaren Newport Beach, in California.
The owner is Jeffree Star, whose Wikipedia page describes as an American YouTuber, entrepreneur, makeup artist, former singer / songwriter and founder and owner of Jeffree Star Cosmetics.

Websites suggest those ventures have amassed Star a $200 million fortune, meaning he doesn’t have to worry about paying that SVO bill for the custom pink paint, color-coded wheels, and pink and blue interior. While it’s not how we’d spec our 765LT, it’s fun to see one tricked out with a totally different look, and even the questionable color doesn’t make the British supercar look any less dramatic.
There’s no word on the mechanical spec, but having driven a 765LT at Silverstone I can’t imagine anyone feeling underwhelmed by the shove from the 755 hp (765 PS) twin-turbo V8. Zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) takes 2.8 seconds, and it storms past 200 clicks (124 mph) in 7.0 seconds on the way to a 205 mph (330 km/h) top speed.
We came across the 765LT on the Instagram account of George Farquhar, VIP Relations Manager at McLaren, along with a handful of images, but little in the way of explanation of the spec. But it turns out Star, who is clearly a bit of a car nut, has put together a video on his own channel covering how he commissioned the 765LT and guiding us through the result, plus giving us a look at his equally striking customized vintage Rolls Royce.
