Bugatti is building just 30 examples of the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and one of these cars was recently delivered to its new owner in London.
All examples of the Chiron Super Sport 300+ being built have the same general specification but this particular car has been optioned with the Sky View glass roof panels that make the cabin a little bit lighter. As for the rest of the car, it is finished with an exposed carbon fiber body contrasted by bright orange racing stripes running over the hood, roof, engine cover, and rear wing.
British YouTuber TheTFJJ recently had the opportunity to go for a quick spin in the French hypercar through the streets of the UK capital but it didn’t take long before the car caught the attention of a local police officer because it didn’t have a front license plate. Admittedly, a vehicle like the Chiron Super Sport 300+ looks much better without a front plate but the law is the law.

Interestingly, this Chiron Super Sport 300 was delivered to the H.R. Owen dealership in the UK in January alongside a pair of other examples. One of those cars had a sticker with its registration details on the front splitter while the second car was equipped with a license plate just below the driver’s side headlight.
While the owner of this Bugatti might not like the look of a front license plate, the law stipulates that the car must have one – and that’s that.
The Chiron Super Sport 300+ is powered by a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 pumping out 1,578 hp as opposed to the 1,479 hp of the standard Chiron. In August 2019, the car hit a top speed of 304.77 mph (490.484 km/h) at VW’s Ehra-Lessien track with Le Mans winner and Bugatti official test driver Andy Wallace at the wheel.
