Lamborghini May Have To Put The Aventador Back Into Production After Cargo Ship Fire

The fire on the Felicity Ace cargo ship has reduced thousands of Volkswagen Group products to junk. And while this is a grave issue for any brand affected, there’s an added complication when it comes to Lamborghini. That’s because some of the cars on board were Aventadors, a model that is now out of production. The automaker’s U.S. head, Andrea Baldi, said some of the damaged vehicles might have to be rebuilt to satisfy customer orders, but replacing completely destroyed cars will be even trickier.

2023 Ford Ranger Raptor Debuts Down Under With 394 HP, Europe Gets Only 282 HP

The Ranger Raptor follows on from the previous generation, with beefed-up styling, flared wheel arches, and 32-inch AT tires. Although this isn’t the North American version that will be revealed later, the Australian and European-spec pick-up gives us a good idea of what to expect. There’s extra protection added underneath and heavy-duty Fox shocks. Under the hood, Europe will get a relatively modest 284 hp (212 kW / 288 PS) and 491 Nm (362 lb-ft) of torque from its V6 engine. On the other hand, Australian-market models will get as much as 392 hp (292 kW / 397 PS) and 583 Nm (430 ft-lb) of torque.

Toyota To Launch New Crown And Corolla Cross Hybrid In The U.S. This Year and New Toyota GR Corolla Will Arrive In The U.S. This October, Claims Leaked Dealer Document

A roadmap for Toyota’s American operations seems to indicate that the GR Corolla could arrive in the US in October. The video is now private, but The Drive was able to grab a few still shots of the documents in it before it disappeared. Also captured is some interesting information about the Crown and, to a lesser extent, Corolla Cross Hybrid models. Both will be coming to the New York Region in small numbers in 2022, which, by extension, means the rest of the U.S. (and likely Canada) can look forward to the models too.
