XPeng is expanding its presence throughout Europe that will see it open a number of new stores.
The Chinese car startup has first reached a strategic agency retail collaboration agreement with Emil Frey Nederland NV in the Netherlands that will see Emil Frey charged with developing the company’s sales and service network through Holland.
Emil Frey is one of Europe’s largest automotive retail organizations and will deliver consistent pricing to Xpeng customers while providing them with access to its service and distribution network. A new retail experience store will be opened in the Westfield Mall near The Hague in March.

Over in Sweden, XPeng has reached an agency retail collaboration agreement with Bilia, the largest automobile dealer and distributor in the country which already operates 58 dealerships and 66 service centers. Xpeng’s vehicles will be available through Bilia stores and serviced at centers in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö. Xpeng is also opening its first retail experience store in Sweden this week.
“Our global journey starts from Europe, propelled by our commitment to increase smart EV penetration,” chairman and chief executive of XPeng, He Xiaopeng, said in a statement. “We strongly support the EV development strategy in Europe and are forging partnerships with top-tier local players to accelerate energy conservation, emission reduction and electrification in Europe.”
XPeng plans to continue to grow its presence throughout Europe with a combination of self-operated retail stores, alongside retail and service networks offered by partners, such as those in the Netherlands and Sweden. The automaker first launched in Europe by establishing itself in Norway, the world’s leader when it comes to the adoption of electric vehicles. In addition to making progress in its expansion through Sweden and the Netherlands, Xpeng is building up its marketing, sales, delivery, and service framework in Denmark.
