Tesla Addresses Phantom Braking Concerns And More With Upcoming FSD Beta 10.11 Release

An upcoming update to Tesla’s Full Self Driving Beta program is said to address complaints of phantom braking, with a few other tweaks too. These phantom braking occurrences are attributed to the detection of Vulnerable Road Users, with the precision of these detections going up by 44.9 percent. The brand has also updated a slew of other systems, with open car doors more accurately detected and turns being made smoother than before.


2023 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 And GT 63 S 4-Door Get Minor Upgrades

The revised 2023 Mercedes-AMG GT 63 and GT 63 S 4-Door receive minor changes for the new model year, with slightly wider outer air intakes up front, and horizontal fins. But the main changes surround how the cars can be customized, with a wider range of Manufaktur colors, a new AMG Night Package II, and a combination of the Night Package and AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package. The interior options list sees similar expansion, and the suspension is also upgraded.

“Performance” and “Crossover” rarely go together in the same sentence. But the new Fiat Pulse Abarth aims to combine both in an affordable package for Brazil. It marks Abarth’s return to Brazil too. The Pulse Abarth features an aggressive front fascia with a unique mesh grille and vertical air curtains. They’re joined by a sportier front bumper that features a red accent and unique fog lights. Fiat has been coy on the technical specifications as of now.

2022 Lexus LC Hokkaido Edition Revealed With Unique Design Touches For European Customers

Lexus has given European customers an all-new special edition of the LC, named the “Hokkaidō Edition.” It features 21-inch alloy wheels, a black-finished grille and chromework, and a set of “afterburner-style” taillights. It is exclusively available in Flare Red, Sonic Platinum, F White, and Graphite color options, while the LC Convertible is available with either a black or red fabric soft top. The interior is decked out in red and black, while engine choices are the standard hybrid V6 or the V8. Only 40 coupes and 40 convertibles will be available for 2022.


Hongqi’s New H5 Compact Executive Sedan Looks Like A Baby H9

Set to be unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show next month, the Hongqi H9 is getting a smaller brother in the form of the H5 that has been showcased online. Hongqi wants the H5 to go up against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5-Series, and Audi A6. The car looks very different from its predecessor and more like a scaled-down H9.


This Weird Electric Off-Roader Gets 750 Miles Of Range And May Be Sold To Militaries

Overland-E has showcased the Generation 2, a new all-electric off-roader that has a claimed range of 750 miles (1,207 km). Overland-E expects to start producing the Gen2 in June of 2023 with production bases in both the U.K. and the U.S., with two models set for completion by the end of 2022. One will be a street-legal version, while the other will be a go-anywhere rendition designed to power across desserts.
