Fans were delighted when Audi finally announced plans to bring the RS6 Avant stateside, but there’s always room for improvement and ABT Sportsline is taking a stab at it with their RS6+ Limited Edition.
Designed to combine striking visuals with performance enhancements, the RS6+ Limited Edition features a carbon fiber reinforced plastic body kit that is finished in a glossy clearcoat. It includes a sporty front lip, small flics, and vertical blades for the intakes.
They’re joined by carbon fiber reinforced plastic mirror caps, side skirt extensions, and a rear valance. Buyers will also find a rear spoiler, special fender badges, and an ABT exhaust system with new mufflers as well as quad 4-inch (102 mm) matte black stainless steel tips. Last but not least, the model rides on 22-inch ABT High Performance HR wheels.

The company didn’t release interior pictures but said the cabin will be outfitted with an assortment of carbon fiber components including the shifter, shift paddles, and dashboard side covers. Buyers will also find “1 of 25” door sill plates and special RS6+ floor mats.
Performance changes are minor, but the RS6+ Limited Edition comes with new anti-roll bars that “ensure significantly reduced body roll and lean tendency.” However, customers can opt for the ABT Power S performance upgrade that enables the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 to develop 690 hp (515 kW / 700 PS) and 649 lb-ft (878 Nm) of torque.
That’s a significant upgrade over the standard model, which is rated at 591 hp (440 kW / 599 PS) and 590 lb-ft (799 Nm) of torque. There’s no word on how much the extra power improves acceleration, but the stock RS6 can hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.5 seconds before hitting a top speed of up to 190 mph (305 km/h).
Pricing remains elusive, but production will be limited to 25 units and the model will be offered in the United States and Canada.
